At Hope La Vernia, we take time to remember the great sacrifice Jesus Christ made for each one of us by taking part in the biblical practice of Communion. With the symbols of the bread and juice we are thankful for both Jesus’ body and blood that were given as a price for our wrongdoing, and we look forward to His soon return. In addition to Communion, Hope La Vernia also practices Water Baptism for those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. We rejoice with those who have chosen to follow Jesus and wish to participate in this outward expression of their inward change.
