Lead Pastors:  Bobby and Lisa Nixon

For 13 years Pastor Bobby served as a full-time youth and children's pastor in several churches across Texas, committed to preaching the Good News about Jesus by utilizing relevant, energetic and interactive methods. In 1997 he became an ordained Assemblies of God minister, and after the loss of their second child by miscarriage, God placed in Pastor Bobby and Lisa's hearts the desire to give birth to a baby church. It was from here that he and his family founded Hope La Vernia in La Vernia, Texas, and God strategically brought together a team of people committed to the task of developing and growing a church.
